Hello and welcome to my new blog Teaching with Apps. I am Elinda Gjondedaj a 20+ year old EFL Teacher in Greece. For all those who may wonder if ''Gjondedaj'' is greek,..no, it is not! I was born in Albania and lived in Athens, Greece from a very young age. I have recently graduated from the University of Athens where I studied English Language and Lingustics. Currently, I work for RCeL (Research Centre for Language, Teaching, Testing and Assessment) of University of Athens and I teach English as a Second/Foreign Language to young learners.
Last year, my partner Andrew Asproudis and me, made a great decision to start developing education apps. We named our team MagicNetApps and since May 2012 we have developed more than 16 apps and we have enjoyed working on each one of them. Among our projects are the TESOL Greece App, the ISTEK ELT 2013, BIGLI ELT 2013 and many other great apps.

I enjoy combining technology with pedagogy and use technology with intetion with my students. I love sharing my thoughts with other teachers who are interested in including technology to their class syllabus or not so comfortable yet with technology and also learn from them. I have done my first steps into teacher training, presenting some proffessional presentations about New Technologies in Teaching in Greece, France and Turkey.
